Ski competition AROSA SLALOM for amateur athletes began in Arosa, Switzerland on 27.07.2017 with a Rachmaninoff concert and will continue in Moscow on 20.10.2017 at the Triumph gallery.
The goal of the project is to develop intercultural communications between Russia and Switzerland, strengthen the current relationships and to generate new projects together.
Every SLALOM creates new masterpiece, starts with competition in Swiss Alps and accompanied with cultural events in Switzerland and Russia.
Created and produced by HNST and Arosa Tourismus.
An opportunity to participate in the slalom competition between non-professional skiers from Russia and Switzerland.
Every year the project invites new artist to create new masterpiece for the exhibition after in Russia.
2017: The central object of the exhibit will be a video installation created by the artist Tatiana Akhmetgalieva during the competition in January 2017.
The exhibit will also include photographs and videos from the competition made in Arosa and photographs of Arosa taken over 100 years ago.
Part of the registration fee goes to the charity foundations.
2017: Part of the registration fee went to Children's Hospice ``The Lighthouse`` - a private medical charity. Hospice is not funded by the government and lives on charitable donations of thousands of people. Hospice is needed for children whose illness recognized as incurable
